Interesting result. The detail and DOF work well, as do the colours and lighting.

This is a wonderful series, edG. The theme is one not many people tackle, and you are doing a superb job of presenting 'past' beauty. I am glad there are still people around that can see beauty in things not usually associated with beauty. And even more glad that you are able to show and convey this to your audience.

Love it Ed. The comp, the lighting, the wonderful background just balances this out so well.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

I like the colour and attention to the fine detail Ed. The focus on the edge of the petal as well as the centre of the flower is effective
