    It works for me. I like the slight vignette and even colour palette for this one. Even the shadow across the face seems to work somehow.

    Very well done. Really looks like you caught a moment where he is trying to find "just the right words" to write to his loved one.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
