The Perfect Slice

    Default The Perfect Slice

    Reminds me of a hamburger bun...lol.





    This was taken at Red Rock Coulee near Medicine Hat Alberta. I can say it is my new favourite and probably the coolest place to visit in Alberta. The boulders are astonishingly large and red and just sit in the grasslands.

    That looks just like a sedimentary hamburger bun! Cool image!

    Such an interesting rock formation, and beautiful sharp detail. Such an amazing sky also.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

    Here's another shot. You can see Montana's Sweet Grass Hillls off in the far distance....about 80-100km away.
    There are hundreds of these "concretions" just laying around and more popping up as the ground continues to erode away.
