Beautifully done AntZ, and also could not agree more ,that is is the six inches behind the viewfinder, not what is in front of it, that counts to make the shot.
(then again, like I said, I love my S100 also)
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

I guess what I meant is that is that it manages a shallower DOF than most P&S cameras.
