    Default Yellow Coumbine - or: my new macro lens

    So I am getting lazy. Had my 300mm mounted, with the tele converter, hoping something in the forest may stir (far away) and show itself ... even bearly ... but alas, no bears around, so back to flowers ... man, did I have to back up on that one ......

    Dang, you even got some of the bugs crawling on the stems! Nice how the flowers stand out against the background.

    Beautiful Matt. Nice and sharp detail with some wonderful bokeh.

    Btw. Which 300mm lens is this?
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

    It's the 300mm f4, with the 1.7 teleconverter, so focal length was 510mm on full frame, and 750 on cropped frame ... not really good for macros
