Wow, you have some pretty butterflies out your way... excellent shot. I'm sure I have some of them around here but I'm not looking in the right places.

Liked that first one, but now, LOVE that second one Casil. The eye, the colour contrast, and the bokeh is beautiful, with no background distractions.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

Many thanks all....these shots were taken at the Butterfly Conservatory at the Calgary Zoo. My Sis' and 7 y.o niece were in town and we went to the zoo for the day.
IggyI wish these guys were local butterflies but I now have discovered a great place to go when it is unbearably cold in the middle of winter....brrr.

Really well done, the clarity of the butterflies and the bokeh background add up to some well done photos.
