Welcome, and thanks for posting these. Nice series. The standout for me is the 2nd shot (portage in the autumn). Very nicely composed. The position of the vertical tree trunk balances the shot and makes my eyes travel upwards to the colourful leaves. Also like the mood in the 3rd image.
Number 3 and 4 are best for me. Like your clarity and color contrast with excellent compositions.
What a great set of photos. You really do get the feel of the Ontario wilderness.
Another vote for #2, and #4 here, but all really do show off our Ontario wilds so well. Nicely done on all, and welcome aboard JR.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
Beautiful series! I would have to say that my favorites would be numbers 1, 3, and 4. I absolutely love the serene feeling invoked by these images!
Thanks for sharing!
Keep an eye on that 'Tools of the Trade' project thread in the assignments forum...I try to add new pictures often!

I too like the autumn colors in the series. Well done.
Thank you! I truly appreciate your comments and opinions.
I will share some more photos shortly, but you can find more on my website, at: JRosselet.com (free wallpapers also available)
Some more from Bon Echo, Killarney, and Lion's Head!

A very great outdoorsy set of images, JR. You definitely capture the wilderness well.
