Hmm Interesting Matt.
This current composition works very well for my eye. I really like the fence here. The image looks wonderfully and interestingly 'balancced' and the colour pops big time. I really dig the subtle shadow detail in the foreground.
Personally, I would not change a thing except slap a frame around it and hang it.

Wow! Such a beautiful location. I love the composition with the gorgeous trees and the fencing. In fact, I wonder if those would be even more highlighted if the image were cropped as a panorama with the fencing lower down? But that's just me. Stunning image! - thanks for posting.
