    Thought this was kinda different... I was taking pictures of this rock formation when hail start to come down (with a strong wind)...

    Very very cool!!! Mt wife actually thought that you rotated the image. Must have been a REALLY windy day.

    lol.... no tricks..... you can see settled snow in the background...

    it was really windy, but i was in the comfort of my vehicle....

    Man that's just weird! Amazing even. Was this happening all around you or just near the rock face where perhaps the wind was getting more concentrated or something?

    My first thought was the same as Marko's wife ... I thought it had been rotated until I noticed the snow.

    Great capture.

    There was a rock formation of the same size behind me... and I was on the road... It was kinda like a tunnel so I guess when the wind picked up it could only go in this direction
