I like the comp and forethought in this image.
...and i too, love reflections and my eyes are always open for them.
In terms of getting this image to pop harder, I might play with the levels some to bring up the shadows, and reduce the blue cast a bit....but that's just how I see it - you may well find the moodiness suits you just as it is.

I do like the moodiness but I wanted to see what it would look like with the changes. I like both but for different reasons...

Neat shot! I could really use some of this kinda of creativity!
Nice, I really like reflection shots and this is a very nice one. I think I like the second one a bit more.
Thanks for the feedback
I like this version as well, though imo, the shadows (especially the people in the top 1/4 of the image) could still be lightened by a good 25%.

I'm still learning how best to fiddle with the different aspects of my image. Love RAW so much! But a whole new level of editing with the processing, lol. Version 3? :P

I like the reflections too. I find the line of water draws the eye towards the person, so would like to see a bit more detail there. Which is probably why I also prefer the 2nd image.

Great shot! I also really like how you've composed the three elements that really draw my attention - the line of water, the position of the person on the sidewalk and the reflections. Since there is little on the right side of the photo that adds to the story, what about cropping the shot to a vertical format from the left side of the picture. That might give even more power to these elements. Just a thought. Again, really nice image.
