Not too far over the Qld border is the Nightcap National Park, and in there is the Protestors Falls.

Nice! I like the double falls in the first one... excellent point of view.
Nice shots! What's the story behind the name?

Very serene, MA --- do you hike with your tripod? What do you use to keep your camera protected?
Thanks Iggy
Celsky ... Protestors Falls was named after the protesters who carried on an anti-logging campaign here in the late 1970s and early 1980s which led to the declaration of the national park in 1983.
Susan ... I do often take my tripod. I need to get a lighter one though for the longer walks. I also have a monopod with a small ball head on it that is also a hiking stick. Very handy. For protection I have a 'raincoat' for the camera if I need it.
Nicely done! I like the perspective in the 1st one!
Great looking falls and shots. Looks like a perfect place I could hang out for a while. I like the first one myself the most.
I'm here to learn so comments, critiques and complaints are always welcome!
