I went up the Mt. Hale in the NH White Mountains yesterday and spent a lot of time tripping over rocks and roots, craning my neck to see -
Most of the color here are sugar maples (two on the left), the green is an oak and some of the bright yellow are birch leaves (yellow birch). The day was perfect and even though I've lived in NH all my life and seen dozens of autumns, it never gets old.
