    Default Whitley Gap Panorama

How this trail has eluded me all these years I don't know, it is an awesome hike. The trail its self is like walking through a fantasy land with gnarled laurel and dwarfed hard woods tunneling over the trail that opens up to this rock outcropping with a view that literally takes your breath away for a second. This was the first time I tried a panorama out and this image is about 20 vertical shots stitched together. And yet it still does not come close to capturing the real feel of the view.

Me and my youngest did hang out for the grand show of the sun setting in the center of the view. Best sunset view around here, not many openings in the trees on mountain tops around here. Will try to get some of those shots up tomorrow.

Cool, how in the larger version, you can see range after range after range after range of hills into the distance. Love the autumn colours too.

    Ditto!

Very well done pano. Lizardqing. Love that large version, and as was said, the depth perception is so well done with the layer upon layer of the range.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
