    Default A couple wee ones

Whenever I'm in the woods, I get acclimated to noticing details. It doesn't happen instantly, but after a bit, little things leap forward and get my attention. Here are two -

Both shot with the legacy OM 90mm f2 macro at about f8, which seems to be in its sweet-spot.

I know what you mean. I'm often in the forest with people who need to learn not just to look ... but to see. There's a difference.

I love little mushy's like these.

nicely spotted and captured, really like the DOF, and the angle on the second shot is great.

Thanks guys...I'm a master at tripod contortions!
and you're right, Steve, a lot of people look and never see. My friend Melissa has amazing vision, her photos are always out of the ordinary and I love going into the woods with her. Sometimes we notice the same things, sometimes different - like having an extra pair of eyes.

Cool shots, WickedD. The "motion" of the grasses almost gives them an underwater look.

These are both just beautiful WD. Perfect dof that makes the subject stand out so well.
