    It's newt season!



    I love these little guys. The red eft phase is their only terrestrial phase. As adults they go back into the water and can live to 15 years. Wow. I think I'll head out in the next few days with a brighter lens and see what I can do. Slow going though because I have to watch where I step and move slowly so as not to smoosh any.
