Forest Light

Yesterday, we spent a day in the rainforest behind the Gold Coast with our daughter (and ph.ca member Chantelle) who is a very good photographer now, and also my sister Belinda (another ph.ca member) who is learning photography quickly.
The Springbrook rainforests are among the oldest on the planet, harking back to the Gondwana Continent before Australia drifted away to be alone with New Zealand.
These are some shots I took while helping Belinda 'see the light' so to speak ...

Well, they are definitely being taught by a pro in the lighting dep't. Love the light play in all of these, but especially the first shot, with that beautiful patterned bokeh.
