good job. Those look like Christmas Ferns in the first image. Some of my favorites. And the second one are rock cap ferns. I'm just starting to figure these out after being mystified by them for decades.

Thanks, WD. I believe you may be right. Found this link: Christmas Fern (Polystichum acrostichoides) which says these are fiddle heads of a Christmas fern from what I see.

Nice set indeed, Iggy. Love the falls and the fiddle head. I find fishing with a camera much more rewarding than with a pole. Once you eat the fish, it's gone, but the images live forever.
