It's kind of funny about the logs. a buddy and local photographer shot the falls a couple weeks before I did and he chose a set back position I've shot before and many other photographers have, too. It's like a reflex or something that we all go downstream to set up. This time my mom was feeling kinda tired so I said I'd shoot real quick. Having just been on top of the falls I had the log in my mind and didn't wander to the usual set up. That same photographer guy saw my shot and said that those logs hadn't been there when he was there a bit earlier. I checked his images and they were, he just didn't see them.
