That Hibiscus is my fathers favourite flower in my mums garden. As far as he's concerned, it's his! I think it 'stems' (excuse the pun) from his love for Hawaiian music (which he plays on his pedal steel guitar) and the stereotypical shot of the pretty Hawaiian girl with the hibiscus in her hair.
