Lovely shot. Perfect DOF I think. All three mushrooms seem to be nicely in focus. Well done!

It could be. Just seems....I don't know, off to me. but that's just me. Not trying to be a jerk about it. I'll shut up now.

I'm really digging the sharpness on the shrooms.I see a slight cast as well but to me it's greenish, very subtle and does not bother my eye here.

not bother at all WD. My monitor is not calibrated so sometimes I don't see these. Or perhaps my brain doesn't. I'll tweak it a bit and re post to see if it's different.

It's a very interesting picture with so much detail. Beautiful background that sharpens into the foreground. And a tiny spider to boot. Excellent. Thanks for sharing it. Mike

thanks for being understanding, Bambi. I realize it wasn't the critique forum and shouldn't have said anything, but I really like the image (it's a microscape!!) otherwise.
