Very pretty capture, Mike! Beautiful colours in the sky and the lake (river?) as well as the foliage.
This has a very strange feel to it. Not sure what it is but it just feels different. It's a lovely image though.
I have to agree with Iggy here. i like this shot but the colours of the sky and water have a strange feel to them. To my eye some highlight tones may have been clipped to the point of not being able to save them through burning. Am I offbase mbrager?

"You have to milk the cow quite a lot, and get plenty of milk to get a little cheese." Henri Cartier-Bresson from The Decisive Moment.
Looking back at the original, the sky highlights towards the left side particularly are blown out. I think I couldn't decide whether to meter on the sky or the foliage, but choosing the foliage left a hole in the sky. I tried processing using a gradient filter and burning but you see the results. Thanks for the comments. It's the Glenmore Reservoir. Mike
