Default 1000th post - Canmore Sunrise Set

Wow, so here I am, my 1000th post. Thought I better make it worthwhile. Got up this morning relatively early, and saw the most beautiful "Alpenglow" on the mountains and in the sky. I don't know how fast I got dressed, but I remember high tailing out of the hotel in quite a hurry. One does not get to see this every day, let alone capture it. And it is over in a short time, too boot. Lucky for me I managed to have the tripod and camera ready in 2 minutes flat. Here are some images for your enjoyment (hopefully)

What a lovely set. Very beautiful. I'm sure it was very impressive in person. Looks like some amazing sights.

WOW. Those colours are amazing. It was sure worth rushing out to get these pictures. Getting dressed and grabbing your equipment in 2 minutes. You are fast. I think I'd end up running out in my pajamas.

Was considering it .... only had to cross main street ... but then I reconsidered: I sleep 'commando', and I would not want to be arrested.

Gorgeous light you captured Matt! My faves here are 3 and 4. Your thinking is bang on with the graduated ND and it will help you big time (though these shots are still mighty fine indeed). Congrats on yr 1000th post as well.

    Best!
