    The back side (down side?) of a thistle. The spikes are in something of a spiral pattern. I'm trying to figure out how to get all of the sections in one shot. May have to just pull one off and hope I don't draw too much blood in the process.

    Very nice set. Love the sharpness of those images. Nice compositions, too.

    For me the "Chorus line" is the best shot - wonderful sharp texture and composition.

    Nice set QO. Really lovin' that thistle though. Perfect crop, and the sharpness is spot on.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

    Thanks, everyone. I really want to try that thistle again. Assuming there are any left when I go back to work (it's growing in the strip between the building and the apartments next door).
