You stay close to an air conditioned building. I decided the flowers just outside the front door at work were the subject of the day.

Good idea, they're calling for 32C today in Halifax which is 90F - not quite as high as 105F but still pretty warm. I'm liking the last one here as the bug adds interest for me.

Another cool set. really vibrant colours in some of these. Shot 5, then shot 1 are my faves here.

Thanks, folks. I'd been meaning to shoot these flowers and the weather provided the excuse. Iggy, did it reach the forecast high, and did you decide the best stuff was just outside the office door?

Hehehehe. Yeah, it certainly did. Hardly pulled the camera out yesterday. Too hot! It was 32C at the airport yesterday (that's where the weather station is) but I suspect it was more like 35C right in Halifax especially walking on the concrete. So, 35C = 95F. Still not 105 but still freakin' hot!

add to that the humidex and it's even higher. It was too hot to eat last night.

I have a respite this week. It started out mid 70s and is creeping back up. It's supposed to be back in the 90s by Sunday and steadily hotter next week. Not as much of a break as I'd like, but I'll take it.

Exactly as Marko said here also.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
