I like that first shot very much. The colour palette and the bokeh are just excellent for this.
I am the same opinion like MA; the purple background dots are working well with the three sharp flowers.
beautiful flower shots.
I particulary like the first one because of the nice repetition throughout the background. The three sharp flowers in the front and then the blurred ones in the background create a nice harmony. The upper part is a little to empty though, maybe you could have slightly changed the perspective.
cheers
Lovely flower shots. I like 'em both for different reasons. Number 1 for the same reasons everyone has already mentioned and number 2 for the sharply focused petals with the water drops on them.
Sweet shots, both of them.
I like both of them as well. I think the second one converted to b&w would fit the master assignment.

A painter takes their vision and makes it a reality. A photographer takes reality and makes it their vision.
Both are lovely, I do like the second especially!
Another vote for #1 here, for the perfect DOF, and then nice smooth bokeh. Beautiful shot Greg.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
