The colours are amazing! A wonderful image. Love the patterns, for some reason it makes me think of rice patties.
it sort of does, Iguanasan. If you scroll to crop the bg, it looks like an ariel sot of farmland with flooding problems. : D
Wonderful composition here - love it! The colours (of this HDR I'm assuming) are a bit bold for me here, but they do indeed make the image striking.

I've seen some amazing shots of these rocks at beautiful times of the day. We weren't there at a good time though.

Kind if reminds me of the Alvar rock formations we have in Ontario, just not so symmetrical as yours with the lines.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
