This is a discussion on Tas-Hartz Mt Road within the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) forums, part of the Photography & Fine art photography category; I loved the moss, ferns and lichen along the roadside here....

A painter takes their vision and makes it a reality. A photographer takes reality and makes it their vision.
Looks like it's hard work keeping the jungle at bay. Also looks like it took you forever to go 1km. : P
Oh yeh I'm hopeless sometimes WD. When i have a camera with me I can turn a two hr drive into a day trip or a 30 min walk into 2 hours easy peasey!!
The second shot. I like the way the road contrasts with the stuff to either side of it.
It's such a cool area. You could stop at a dozen locations in this area and take similar photos.
definetly "bucket list" stuff. And I will make sure I have enough time to go slow ...

Entertaining, vivid colours, nice perspective. The second picture conveys also a sense of humidity, high temperature....Almost a complete sensorial experience....
Thanks Light50 ... it was winter though and quite cool. In the summer though the temps would reach up to the 30c range.
