Mt Wellington stands high above the city of Hobart in Tasmania, 1270 metres (4000 feet) above the Hobart harbour. It's foothills flow down to the Derwent River and Hobart is built between the river and the mountain.

Here's a few shots showing the mountain from the city and vice versa ...





Up on the summit is the lookout shelter with several boardwalks down to various viewing platforms.
