As it seems like most of my uk Summer holidays, we made it to beach, but it wasn't really what you would call a beach day. And will the kids played in the water (in their wetsuits) I tried to capture the weather.

Far as I can tell ... everyone is a typical Brit then because people seem to complain about their own weather all over the world
But the overcast gives such wonderful color to the rocks closest to the walk.
Is there a story behind the name? I keep picturing honeybees with halos flying around.
quite a neat picture of the beach. Did you get some of the kids in their suits?

Thanks guys,
I'm not on the history of the place, but I didn't see any honey farms close by.
Bambi, my wife asked me the same question... I wasn't keen on changing lens on the beach it was way to dusty and windy, and it was a bit of a walk back to the car, so most of the time I had my 18-55 on camera which isn't that great for portraits. I did get this one on a previous day though.
well my god, a pink wetsuit! How cute is that???
lol, I bet your wife was asking where the photos of the kiddos were!! it being a family vacation and all.
