Very nice Casil. I quite like the 1st shot.
This is a discussion on Liquid Crystal within the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) forums, part of the Photography & Fine art photography category; Very nice Casil. I quite like the 1st shot....
I like the crop in shot 1 better than the original crop. Bottom feels a WEE bit too dark here tho, I might try to get a hint more detail around the circumference of the drops.

"You have to milk the cow quite a lot, and get plenty of milk to get a little cheese." Henri Cartier-Bresson from The Decisive Moment.
I like the cropped version better as my attention is driven right to the glare of light in each crystal which makes them look like glittering christmas ornaments.

Don't know how, but I missed this shot as well ... dammit. Casil, you never cease to amaze me with your vision for photography. You have a rare gift for seeing things that we miss most of the time, or, put it a bit differntly, you can make the most ordinary thing come to life like there is no tomorrow. Well done! Sell your work, dammit!
