    Default Side Impact

I love sheep laurel, it's one of my favorite late spring bloomers. Most times it's sparsely planted and hard to get to, often occurring in mucky areas. This time though I had a bit of luck and didn't have to get wet feet. It was almost the only one of its kind along this whole trail.

I have never heard of sheep laurel. They are pretty wildflowers...do sheep eat them?

Well if they do, woe unto them. It's poisonous to livestock and also goes by the name Lambkill. Laurels can be tricky.

Thank you Captain Obvious! ; P showing off your fancy type skills I see. : D

Yeah, that was kinda the point. The plant was pretty scarce along this stretch and I thought a photo like this one would show that well. Don't you love how overcast days and a CPL will make greens just sing.
