In the woods I'm often drawn to the things that are underfoot. Today was no exception -
The back of a pitcher plant -
Partridgeberry flowers stretching the limits -
An unknown and probably toxic mushroom in some lovely moss -
It was a cloudy, but bright day and I only took the E-30, the 12-60mm some filters and a tripod. Should have remembered the bug spray.

Very nice, all of them WD, but like the Pitcher Plant especially.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

nice shots, indeed ... but i cannot see any bugs ... so it could not have been all that bad ...otherwise they would be immortalized on your shots ...

The stuff underfoot is some of the coolest subjects. People are getting used to seeing me crawling along the side of the path in a skirt. Love this set, especially the pitcher plant.

My back doesn't like it, but my eyes sure do. I might just get down on the ground again today.
