Shot 1 does have a bluish colour cast to my eye, but it still seems more striking in colour than the second shot. Maybe somewhere in between? The second shot is losing some of that colour punch imo.

I see a very slight blue cast to the first shot but to me it looks perfectly right. There would be a blue cast on the mountains from that distance in this light I think.
The 2nd shot has a strong yellow cast.
Just noting also ... I changed a monitor yesterday and recalibrated both.
Definitely tend to agree that first version has much more pleasing colour to it. Was just commenting on the man-made presence in the corner that stood out on such a beautiful natural scene.
Also agree would look better just PS'd out rather than cropped, as the foreground really works in this shot.
Guess I shoulda' just kept quiet eh Casil? (sorry,)
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
