Where can I scratch these to get the scent? Wonderful, you must be very proud of your garden. Nice images, I really really wish I could smell them ...

Wasn't Smell-o-Vision supposed to be invented by now?
Thank you for the compliments, but I'm a lazy gardener. I like roses because they're pretty, and because they're just this side of weeds. You can't kill the things.
They will also be a very convenient subject for my next "toe in the water" function/mode - RAW. I take things at my own speed and in my own way, so I've been ignoring the "you must at all times shoot RAW from the start" advice. I figure a few pictures every few days to fiddle with it is a good start.
You may be sick of roses by the time I'm done.
Ohhhhh - I love these roses and I love all roses. I won't get tired of any your pictures!
Could you give me the name of this one? They have a great colouring.
MoinMoin, I think it's Summer of Love. Jackson & Perkins: Summer of Love Hybrid Tea Rose - Mom ordered it from Jackson & Perkins several years ago. The picture there, and the description matches most closely.
The red one is either Mr. Lincoln or Chrysler Imperial - the other two Mom ordered. (And I just realized that I have 5 bushes outside the door. The other two are from a local nursery, and I'd have a heck of a time figuring out what they are.)
