Then, you did completely misread my post.
Nevertheless, you are still not making good photographic sense. It is impossible to deal with saturation level totally in isolation from factors such as lighting, exposure, filters, glare, etc.
The thick "tomes" on Colour Correction are indicative of the fact that digital cameras can't even be depended on to accurately depict the shade or colour correctly in all situations, so why would anyone think that they come any closer on saturation level?
