    Cool Workflow Suggestions Wanted

Just abandoned the PC ship for the Apple speed boat. Purchased an iMac 24 inch and lovin it... So I left my PS Elements behind and went with Aperture... question is... should I import to and exclusively use Aperture or is there any compelling reason to to use both iPhoto and Aperture?

I also use Aperture along with iPhoto. I do all my processing in Aperture and then export the 5 star ratings to iPhoto. The reason for this is so that I can use the iPhoto's new features such as facial recognition and places tagging. It is also an easy way to convert raw files to .jpg by placing them in iPhoto. I also like the new slideshow presentations in iPhoto for viewing. Another reason I use iPhoto is the easy sync to my iPhone to store my favorite photos to take with me to show off my pictures.
    Hope this helps

If you use aperture it would be all I would use, I used to use Aperture but went to Lightroom but they are very close and you can get away with just using Aperture. No reason to use iPhoto just adds an unnecessary step. Just my

My mistake has been seeking new landscapes. I should have been seeking new light.

I am a Lightroom's fan, but is hard to find some tutorials. Most of them are still for CS Photoshop :(

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the feedback... I like the idea of using iPhoto for my "keepers" and the ability to make slide shows easily.....
