He talked about getting bored with other types of photography ... I'd get seriously bored with what he's doing seriously fast.

"You have to milk the cow quite a lot, and get plenty of milk to get a little cheese." Henri Cartier-Bresson from The Decisive Moment.
You're welcome, Marko.
MA, I think you're probably right. I think it's really cool to look at but I'm not sure if I'd be able to set that up time after time. While the landscape is changing the subject is pretty much the same every time.
For me, it's a gimmick. What are you going to do with a thousand photos of subjects that have a huge man-made ball of light in it? It's something that wows me once.
yeah, I shut it down when he got all metaphysical about something he did himself. oy. Sure a person has to have a creative outlet, but he's an A-type personality so everything is to the extreme and everything is a race. I can't relate to that part. If he started out doing it for himself, he seems to have left that behind.
It's a cool effect, but I have to agree with Marko, it would get old real fast.
Plus I have a small grumble about the video, the bits I saw had too much of a self-help video feel to it (I had to keep skipping forward, I really don't care about his personal life), and not enough photos. Perhaps if I was less impatient I might have seen more
This is so neat!! Not sure how just yet but I really want to try that!!
