Well, my friend, we jumped back in time. The date is now 1984, Orwellian time. It has become clear to me that the ruling class feels the need to subjugate their sheeple. 911/Iraq/Iran/Afghanistan/Gaza/BP oilspill ... just to mention a few. If you connect the dots, it is all and exclusively about money and power. Canada has a wonderful right winged "Yeah Sayer" in Harper, with a minority of the Canadian people standing behind him. Time to vote!

Harper picked Toronto it was all supposed to be held in a Small Ontario town Called Huntsville they realized there was no way to house and look after all the media, Government Officials and so on for the G20 and the G8 was held at the original site. So our Grand Moron Harper picked Toronto and our Mayor suggested the Exhibition grounds would have been much easier and far less costly to secure but Heir Harper did not want to listen to us. So we taxpayers pay for those 19,000 cops. I hooked up with some old political friends and we are demanding an inquiry into this. SO whose is to blame in the end, all those who voted for the Reform Party, ooooops Conservative Party. As a resident of Toronto I am outraged with all of this. They shut down our city and tried their best to make in a rights free zone the MoFo fascists. If you have not figured out I am Furious, and time to start a sh** storm.
“I take photographs with love, so I try to make them art objects. But I make them for myself first and foremost - that is important.” Jacques-Henri Lartigue
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Edmund Burke"Vive L'Acadie, Liberté, égalité, fraternité, ou la mort!"
Huge overbearing police presence all thru the event, but when a select few people started looting and burning, the police suddenly disappear and do nothing.
The only times the police were aggressive and started laying the smack down were when people were protesting peacefully, or not protesting at all. The only people beaten/detained/trapped by police were either peaceful protesters, media, or local residents who were simply walking through the area.
It's as if the police were less concerned about controlling violence and destruction and more concerned about controlling peaceful protests and the media.
It is great then that increasing photo and video among the general populace helped expose the police actions during this event, just like it exposed the Rodney King beating.
Exactly! Fly them to a remote spot for these "meetings". These world leaders don't even see the protesters nor do they care what they have to say. If you really want to protest what your government does , then VOTE! Become active in a powerfull lobyist group and influence change.
Wherever you go, There you are!

I can't comment or dwell on this for long tonight because I'll SNAP!! Having said that, I do find it funny that the attitude of the police seems to be "Go ahead, break anything you want....It'll come out of your own pockets anyway be it tax hikes or higher prices. Do whatever makes you happy, BUT....STAY AWAY FROM THE PUPPET MASTERS!!!!"
I enjoyed the link to the shots but I'm biased because I love that site I'm always hoping we'll sort all this out before the wheels fall off but I'd bet the rest of my life starting tomorrow we won't Thanks for the thought provoking post AL!
