"You have to milk the cow quite a lot, and get plenty of milk to get a little cheese." Henri Cartier-Bresson from The Decisive Moment.
There's a yellow rose in Texas, That I am going to see,
Nobody else could miss her, Not half as much as me.
She cried so when I left her It like to broke my heart,
And if I ever find her, We nevermore will part.
She's the sweetest little rosebud That Texas ever knew,
Her eyes are bright as diamonds, They sparkle like the dew;
You may talk about your Clementine, And sing of Rosalee,
But the YELLOW ROSE OF TEXAS Is the only girl for me.

Old man look at my life,
I'm a lot like you were.
Old man look at my life,
I'm a lot like you were.
Old man take a look at my life
I'm a lot like you
I need someone to love me
the whole day through
Ah, one look in my eyes
and you can tell that's true.
This is Gord btw....and I thank him for letting me use his beautiful image for a great song.

Thanks Jimmy...I used to feel like that too but I figure what the heck, the worst they can say is no which is totally their perogative. Most people say yes and sometimes I give them a few $$ for letting me, especially if they look like they need it. Gord was selling the street newspaper (instead of panhandling - people can buy a paper for whatever they choose to give him) so I gave him $5 and told him to sell my paper to someone else.
PS...love your let it snow image!
PPS..thanks Marko for the kudos also!
