Personally I like it! It makes me looks evil! Like I'm some magical creature hiding in a human body...maybe I am...
My darling girl. I love the mischief in her eyes in this shot.
A very cute shot nqp - what a beautiful girl you have! - just remember that one of the most important keys to a great portrait (99% of the time) is tack sharp and bright eyes.

I see now that it is a bit soft. I never really noticed that before. Thanks!
nice work everyone! i did not take the time to read text - scrolled throught the photo submissions quickly - have a few faves - MA 1st submission of his daughter (post #45).... ALex's post #33 and my fave of all: #35 by Bambi. Way to go everyone! if i have time, i will try to submit something too.
Here is an upload of a quick - 2 second portrait I did at my son's wedding this past weekend. The young man is a US Marine and was a groomsman standing up for my son. I believe he said that he has served in Iraq for two tours and a tour in Afghanistan. The scar on his face is from his tour in one of those places. I tear up and have so much gratitude to those who spend their lives protecting a country they believe in. Seeing Zach was no different for me.
Went to the playground today!!!!
It's funny how much more I realize the midday shadows than from last year..non the less. I know I know, eyes could be a tad bit sharper- wow..I need some exercise on manual focus with speedy kids..lol! I was happy with this!
