    Default January 2013 - Beginnings - New

(QuietOne wrote - thx btw!) OK, I'll throw some ideas out, since it's getting close to the new month and new year. Off the top of my head, I can think of:

    Beginnings

Odd gifts you've gotten recently (not specifying for what, since some folks don't do any of the solstice holidays)

    Resolutions

    Any other ideas?

I like beginnings or 'start' or 'new' for level one.

Light painting or light drawing seems cool for level 2

The themes that have the most support by jan 1 become this month's themes.

This assignment has been kind of baffling me. I can't seem to think of anything creative yet.
Good start. Maybe you picture will trigger something in my mind.

    Great start QuietOne.

This is a somewhat irreverent approach to the topic - but I couldnt help myself. I was wondering if these were a new version of homosapien eggs, and that if when they hatch you get new life?

Well, I photographed a bunch of people taking the start to a new year with the Herring Cove Polar Bear Dip.... here's one of my favourites from the day.

Great capture. The expression on his face looks like he has already anticipated the cold that is about to happen.
