Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. saturation is fine on this monitor - pretty flower and cute heart shaped stamen! :0)
I scanned it from a Velvia 50 slide. And put it in lightroom for a slight crop and just hit auto tone which lightened it up a bit. Did a bit of recover to bring up the background a bit. I am just learning the scan thing but I am pretty sure the saturation is just a feature of having used Velvia film to start with.
Here is my submission for Feb! Hope to take more shots but in case I don't, we'll use this one!
