    Default August 2011 - Photography assignment - "By Numbers" Photograph something with numbers

    Hi members - I'm lookin' for good accessible suggestions for this month.

    So here are a coupla suggestions;

    regular assignment - shooting from a low angle.

    level 2 assignment - Shoot a portrait at F-16 or smaller (F-22, F32 etc.)

    feel free to support them or suggest others; no worries.....but the suggestions with the most support in the next 24 hours, become August's challenges.

    Thx!

    I had a thought for level 2 which is "creating counterpoints"
    Definition:
    "Counterpoint is loosely defined as an element of a scene that is set up in contrast to or relationship with another element. For example, one element can be static and the other motion-blurred, creating contrast between the two; contrast can also be achieved using color, tone, or position. Or, the two elements can relate to one another, such as when elements converge in a scene in a pleasing way. Counterpoint can be used to create drama or tension in an image, or sometimes the exact opposite"

    Sounds interesting, casil... I'll vote for that.

    For the level one, my suggestion is "By the Numbers" Photograph something that includes a number in some way.

    Ok Guys - Your suggestions win - merging posts and editing thread titles now. thx Marko
