April 2011 Photography assignment - Geometric Shapes

Long time lurker here. Actually just listen to the podcast at work. Here is my submission. A local church, I thought that triangle sticking out was kinda cool.

The shape I'm going for is a oval, that's a geometric shape right?

I looked up geometry in the dictionary:
ge·om·e·try/jēˈämitrē/Noun
1. The branch of mathematics concerned with the properties and relations of points, lines, surfaces, solids, and higher dimensional analogs
Plus I'm learning grade 9 geometry along with my daughter. None of which qualifies me as an expert, so I hope my submissions are considered "geometric shapes". Sometimes they just seem symmetrical and/or repetitive.

That's a cool shot, SAD. Texture of the water and texture of the posts makes it hard to tell where one begins and the other ends. Geometric? Absolutely. Mike
