EDITED BY MARKO - Thanks for the ideas everyone - this suggestion thread is now closed, but the assignment is open effective immediately - thx - marko October 2008 - Photo assignment 1 - Fall images
Hey everyone... its almost the end of the month!
Whats everyones thoughts on Octobers two themes??
Im going out on a limb and suggesting 'halloween' for the 2nd half of the month.
Maybe 'autumn' for the 1st half?
Fall for the first... Horror for the second.
HAH... I didn't even read this really... and then I posted and went back... I copied you...
Where is the subliminal mind control machine? Wait.. that wasn't even subliminal... but yeah, I agree... but I think we should go with just 'horror or scary' instead of halloween.
Good ideas ... but I think Halloween might be better than horror, leaves more options.
We could always combine the 2 with a simple slash or dash?
What about Halloween/Horror or
Horror - Halloween?
Good on you for starting the thread Kiley
thanks marko - i just got back online after having my pc in the shop for a week, so i got eager...
i agree with AL, that 'halloween' leaves more options, my daughter is dressing up as tinkerbell, and thats not so horror-related. the 'slash or dash' idea give us even more options.
that being said mindforge, they say great minds think alike...
I just assumed that Halloween included horror.
I was thinking the "slash" meant horror - you know - "slasher" films? I really did think that when I first read the word slash..then I was scratching my head wondering what the "dash" stood for. Then, after a bit, I realized Marko meant / & -- Not the other more gruesome version....I need to get out more...maybe hit up a writing class or two. (To gain an understanding of what slashes and dashes mean in the text world.)
lol - too funny susan... and i only say that because i had the same thoughts run through my head...
Sounds like fun to me..
Fall for the first part and
Halloween/horror for part two
It was really funny - that is, after I figured it out.... sheesh. Good to know I am in good company! Kiley wins the Susan is Dense Appreciation Award today!
