Whether your a resident or tourist there's two places everyones been. The parliment buildings are lit up every night. The walkway to the lighthouse at Ogden Point is usually packed but as you can see, it was closed today.

Andrew- those parliament buildings are neat. I took this at the nov 11 ceremony. in a small town everyone comes to the cermony- why block the street with barricades when you can use a firetruck? And of course, the truck attracts children to look at it.

The Halifax Public Gardens' Bandstand had the roof replaced with this red fiberglass roof in the 1970s. Monday was the last day of 2010 for that roof as they are replacing it with copper while the park is closed over the winter months to give it a more authentic Victorian style.
Hi Iggy. I don't know if it is just me. You picture is not showing up.
Thanks. All fixed up!
I live on the outskirts of Phoenix where there is still farmland. About this time of the year the local farmers grow these fields of flowers. It's a site to see driving by with the windows open and smelling the fragrance.
Any constructive criticism on my photos would gladly be appreciated.

Looks like a very beautiful place and this is an interesting composition. If you get a chance to shoot it again, you might want to try it when the light isn't quite as harsh so the colour will be a little more lush. It looks a tad washed out.
I just spent an hour shoveling snow off our driveway. Thanks for the picture and the reminder that there is better weather. Mike
