What? Stick it to my face???
Actually ... two days ago I gave some advice to Chantelle and got something like "Yeh ... of course I'm doing that!" back. "Perhaps there's not much I can teach you anymore?" says me!
Yesterday she had a little portrait shoot to do for an army guy heading off to Afghanistan on Tuesday. She wanted a fairly high key shot and was struggling to achieve it with the background and shadows caused by the flash. I showed her how to control her flash better and how to change a few settings to ones she wouldn't normally choose to help reduce the shadows. It worked very well.
"Looks like the old man still has a few tricks up his sleeve for you kid!" says me
