A painter takes their vision and makes it a reality. A photographer takes reality and makes it their vision.
I like this portrait of weirdness

Granville street is still shut down for the Olympics. While the main event is well over, the Para Olympics are running strong. This guy was a street performer. I took the sharpness off in RAW editor and kinda liked the Ortonish results.
Thanks all
Just curious - you did that in camera?I took the sharpness off in RAW editor and kinda liked the Ortonish results.
Thx - Marko

I did it in the PS RAW editor, the place where when you first open a .NEF file in Photoshop, it gives you a whack of adjustment parameters before The file is opened as a .PSD
Crystal clear - gotcha!
I call that raw editor Bridge....

I got it now Marko..."Bridge" Funny thing is... I always wondered what Bridge was but just assumed it was something I really didn't need to know just yet. If the need for Bridge came up, then I'd pay attention
Lovely shot. I too thought it might have been orton at first.
Could have put this under the animal thread as Koo Koo Bird.

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!
