    Default Shea Fisher

Today we tried something different ... we went where there's 'bulls and mud, dust and blood' (Garth Brooks) and they let people in hats ride farm animals. I've never been to the Rodeo before.

A surprize for me was this young lady in the photos. That's Shea Fisher ... born in Aussie just up the road from where I live, but she spent her youth in the USA racing horses at Rodeo's and learning to sing Country Music.
She's 20 yrs old now and has released her 2nd album. She has a distinct American flavour and sound to her music and I love it.

Yes ... they are a little over exposed. Tough reconciling the settings between the harsh sun and the shadows under the hats!

When I get a chance I'll start another rodeo thread and whack up some examples of the bull and bronco riding as well.

Yeh something different AntZ. It was a $15 entry fee so I figured that was very reasonable to experience the unknown for me and it provided some interesting photographic opportunities. Not sure I made the best of them all but happy for a first time shot.
