    Default Fire Spin

Had some fire performer mates doing a rehearsal tonight, and I used the opportunity to try out some various techniques to get some interesting pics (lighting, off-camera flash, long exposures, rear curtain sync etc) and got some interesting stuff.

Here's one (it's a shame the small pics lose detail because the detail when you get in close to the fire is amazing...)

It's a shame with cheap triggers you can't do rear-curtain sync with off-camera flash - I'd need at least a second slave flash to be able to do this.

Still, it was an interesting learning experience for when we try and get some pictures for real...

Masked - as they do the show in full costume, they need to rehearse with the masks to get used to the reduced vision...
